Foreign Legal Studies Program
The goal of the Foreign Legal Studies Program is to prepare graduates for a career in a variety of entry-level, para-professional and professional level positions within a wide range of U.S. and foreign firms doing business with Brazilian companies or with the Brazilian Government. Students are expected to acquire communication, critical thinking, leadership and ethical reasoning skills essential for success in the global market. The program has a blend of fundamental theory, and understandings of legal underpinnings are included as they are commercially relevant and academically established for employment. This program is offered at the baccalaureate level, leading its graduates to the Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Foreign Legal Studies degree.

Special Admission Requirement
The Bachelor of Science in Foreign Legal Studies program is provided in Portuguese. Students applying for this program must be able to fluently read, write and speak Portuguese. Prospective students may be subjected to interview and test to proof Portuguese speaking capability.
Graduation Requirements
Graduation requires successful completion of study and minimum 2.0 grade point average. The Bachelor of Science in Foreign Legal Studies degree offered by the American College of Brazilian Studies requires a minimum of 136 semester credits. Minimum completion time of regular program is 6 semesters and completion time of Brazilian Traditional Concentration is approximately from 8 to 10 semesters.
Investment
