Virtual Library (VL)

AMBRA in partnership with publishers offers on-line books for its students with no additional cost.

The Virtual Library (VL) offers more than one thousand complete titles with 6,000 (six thousand) pages per semester available per student. In addition to book pages students can access high quality instructional material produced by AMBRA's faculty and complementary materials available over the Internet for free.

The access per number of pages per student model frees students research will, because they can individually read entire titles, only one specific chapter, or even individual pages. Once a specific page is opened, it can be reviewed as many times as needed during current month.

The Virtual Library carries peculiarities that indicate advantages over a standard physical (or on campus) library, namely:

  • Opened 24/7.
  • All title collection is always available, independently of the number of users, readers or inquiries.
  • Title collection is alway preserved with no marking.
  • Unlimited number of volumes of any title.
  • Easy access through electronic indexing and keywords for all titles.
  • Selection or reservation of a title imply no restriction to other students or professors.
  • It is possible to print a title or a part of it legally paying copyrights.
  • Title collection centralization (many virtual libraries) available to students and professors from a unique access point (the computer).
  • Title collection is constantly updated.
  • Security and quality in the information resources.
